Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Hello!  I'm Bob Gehman - I'm recently retired after a long and successful career that spanned over 50 years.  During that span, I served four years in the military both on a Guided Missile Destroyer, and in GITMO, spent 28 years as a sales and systems engineer for Verizon and then spent over 18 years at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Network Communications. During that time, I had the privilege of meeting a lot of professionals as well as made a lot of friends during the journey. Most of these folks were in the technology fields but many others were what I would call "right brained" - creative, entertaining, talented, musical, eloquent and intelligent.  I have learned something from each of them and have decided to create a blog site to share some of what I've learned with you.  I hope that you gain some insights from this site and offer you the opportunity to send me submissions of your own for consideration to be published here.  Everyone offers SOMETHING to the world - some expertise, some experiences, something that should be shared with others.  Enjoy what you read here, send me feedback and take advantage of the offer to provide readers with your own thoughts, ideas and motivations.  Enjoy!
