Our son Rob, Daughter-in-Law Ali, and their Samoyed, Renly, have closed up their home in Elizabethtown and are moving to the West Loop of Chicago today. They will be starting a new and exciting chapter in their lives as Ali begins her six-year plastic surgical residency at the University of Illinois Hospital Chicago and Rob will continue his work with Merck remotely.

This move is the latest in a grand adventure for this young couple. Rob and the good doctor have been carefully planning their lives for many years now and we're proud of their many accomplishments and wish them continued success in the Windy City.
The move from the suburbs of E-Town to Chi-Town offers many must-see attractions including:
Chicago Museum Campus
Boat Tours
Millennium Park
Skydeck Chicago
Navy Pier
360 Chicago
Pullman National Historical Park
Lincoln Park Zoo
Garfield Park Conservatory
Cloud Gate

For sports fans, Chicago is home to the Chicago Bears (NFL) at Soldier Field, (Chicago Cubs (MLB) at Wrigley Field, Chicago White Sox (MLB) at Guaranteed Rate Field, Chicago Bulls (NBA) at the United Center, Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) at the United Center, Chicago Sky (WNBA) at the Wintrust Arena, and the Chicago Fire (MLS) at Soldier Field.
Iconic Chicago Music venues include the Metro, Lincoln Hall, The Hideout, The Empty Bottle and Green Mill Cocktail Lounge with several newer and emerging venues popping up all the time. Chicago is known as a world class hub for blues and jazz throughout the city.
If you're hungry, Chicago offers several Michelin-starred/fine dining locations including Alinea, Ever, Smyth, Oriole and Kasama. In addition, some historic eateries including The Berghoff, Gene and Georgetti, Lou Mitchell's, Valois, Billy Goat Tavern and Al's #1 Italian Beef. Don't forget to try the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza!
As you might expect, having family move away is a bittersweet and emotional event for us. Lehigh Valley International Airport has recently started offering direct flights to O'Hare in Chicago, so we hope that Rob and Ali come back on occasion as their schedules permit, and we hope to fly out to visit as well.

Our hearts go with them today and we wish them the very best life has to offer!

We wish them safe travels and a great future ahead.
I love next to ETown….beat of luck!
Wishing Rob and Ali all the best in there future endeavors and much success! Looking forward to hearing the updates!
Hope You Both Have A Safe and Fun Time In Chicago... Although I'm Not A Chicago Blackhawks Fan, Lol
Nice!
