  • Steve Buscemi was a New York firefighter prior to becoming an actor. After the 9-11 attacks, he worked 12-hour shifts to help rescue people from the rubble.


  • During the 2025 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, Joey Chestnut won his 17th title by consuming 70.5 hotdogs in 10 minutes! This was an average of one hot dog, every 8.5 seconds.


  • During WWII, so many NFL players were fighting in the war that the rival Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers temporarily teamed up to form the STEAGLES.

  • The can opener wasn't invented until nearly 50 years after the can.

Always love these segments. I have a newfound better opinion of Steve Buscemi now. I never knew Elvis didn't write his own music.
