I got a book for Christmas titled True Facts That Sound Like Bulls#*t by Shane Carley with 500 insane-but-true facts to shock/impress your friends. Here's a few that seemed fun or incredible I wanted to share with you. If the post is popular, I'll do another one in the future.

• The average weight of a Cumulus cloud is 1.1 MILLION pounds. Although they look light and fluffy, clouds are mostly water, which has significant heft to it.

• The darkest substance known is called "VANTABLACK" and absorbs 99.965% of all visible light.

• The founder of MATCH.COM lost his girlfriend to another man who she met on Match.com.

• Right-handed people live an average of nine years longer than left-handed people.

• If there are 23 people in a room, there is a 50% chance that two of them share a birthday. Statisticians call this the Birthday Paradox. If there are 75 people in a room, there is a 99.9% chance that two share a birthday!

• The footprints that our astronauts have left on the moon will probably never go away. The moon has no atmosphere, so it has no wind. The only thing that could possibly disturb these imprints would be via a lunar impact.
